Fall color is beginning to show at Council Bluff Lake.

Trees are just beginning to show some color in Mark Twain National Forest, but fall wildflowers are at their peak.

Drive slowly along a county or forest road and you will notice the vivid purples, yellows and reds along the roadsides and in the ditches.
