The Missouri Whitewater Association (MWA) 53rd Races will be held March 20-22. This exciting event takes place on the St. Francis River in Madison County.

The starting point for most of the races are at Millstream Gardens Conservation Area 8 miles west of Fredericktown on Highway 72.

The finish line is down river at the old Silver Mine Dam. The Silver Mine Recreation Area is on D Highway. This is a great place to view the race.

Spectators can see most of the exciting race action from this point. The mountainous rock formations are high above the river and people are sitting strewn over the rocks. This elevated perch allows a view upstream as well.
