Several months ago I wrote a column for the Traveler regarding the case of New York Rifle and Pistol Association, et. al. vs. City of New York, et. al. This is the first Second Amendment case that the U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear in almost 10 years.
A lot has happened in the New York Rifle case recently, even though the case is not scheduled for oral argument until Dec. 2.
But before we get to recent developments, let’s back up and summarize what was said in the earlier column.
If you are a gun owner, and I assume many of the readers of the Traveler are gun owners, you should be interested in this case and what it might mean for your Second Amendment rights.
