Have you ever eaten fried pickles? If you have, then you are probably familiar with the spears and chips.
But have you ever had fried pickle fries? Until I went to Frisco’s Grill & Pub in Cuba, Mo., I hadn’t either. I didn’t even know that they made fried pickles in fry form!
Needless to say, I was not disappointed by them. Frisco’s is now one of my top favorite fried pickle places. But their fried pickles aren’t the only good thing there.
The atmosphere of the restaurant in itself is very intriguing. The restaurant is decorated with several pictures and murals of the Frisco Railroad. Cuba is actually known as the “Mural City” and the restaurant is located right off Old Route 66 and has a huge mural outside its place, and every building around it has beautiful murals.
If you want something to do before or after eating, just walking around the town is enough. I also noticed that the restaurant was very history oriented. I really enjoy history, so I thought it was neat to look at everything and see what each item was about.
