This year’s Earth Day cleanup is coming up

The James River Basin Partnership will host their annual Earth Day cleanup on Monday, April 22, from 1-5 p.m. at Lake Springfield.

Partners for this event include the Springfield-Greene County Park Board, Bass Pro Shops, and the Missouri Department of Conservation.

This is a free event open to anyone who would like to get out and make a difference in their community.

We will have shoreline, lake, and river cleanup opportunities available. Pre-registration is required.

Experienced floaters have the option to float a 4.75-mile section of the James River from Crighton Access to Southwood Access.
