Spring is firmly in place and it brings a lot of opportunities for families and friends to gather.
This could be for Easter, Mother’s Day, graduations or just celebrating the promise of warmer weather and being able to be outside.
When growing up, I always loved Easter and gathering together to celebrate.Â
Whether it was when it was just Jeff and me when we were young and looking for goodies or when we all got older and would come back home to celebrate, we always had great celebrations that included wonderful food.
As I have written in the past, my favorite Easter entree’ was a ham loaf stuffed with a pineapple slice and covered with a raisin sauce. That still makes me swoon.
However, desserts still ruled! So, I thought I would share a great chocolate cake recipe that originated from Nestle’s but was shared via the Pioneer Woman.
