Rush Springs Ranch, located in Pineville, Mo., has been awarded a grant from Missouri State Parks through the federal Recreational Trail Program (RTP) to build new multi-use, off-road trails.
The Arch Cave Expansion Project includes the purchase of 60 acres and construction of 2.77 miles of natural surface for the trails.
“The state called me almost three years ago wondering if I would be interested in this grant program, and asked me to apply,” said Russell Van Elk, owner of Rush Springs Ranch.
