Take the extra steps to keep our lands beautiful

I know that if you are reading this you are probably aware of “our out of doors” and I am “preaching to the choir,” but I believe some of this information we all can use to help others.

There are many ways to cover our tracks (so to speak).

As more and more people venture outdoors, then leave no trace, it is increasingly more important to extend this to everything a human might leave behind. 

Yep, you guessed it: if nature calls when you’re out in nature, especially in Colorado, officials now ask you take your poop with you when you leave.

No doubt you’ve heard the saying: “Take only pictures, leave only footprints.”

In beautiful outdoor spots across our country people have been leaving far more disturbing things other than foot prints: human waste, piles of it, in places you wouldn’t expect, so tread lightly and be aware.
