State launches Buy Missouri Route 66 Guide

Following a visit to the birthplace of Route 66, Missouri Lieutenant Governor David Wasinger recently announced the release of the Buy Missouri Route 66 Guide, a new resource designed to connect travelers with Missouri-made businesses along the historic corridor.

Unveiled in Springfield, the city where the name “Route 66” was first proposed by telegram in 1926, the guide celebrates the road’s 100-year legacy while spotlighting the entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and artisans who define Missouri’s economy today.
