Recycle Rally really works

Robertsville State Park is one of my favorite spots to hit up for a stroll. I love walking their trails and even their campground loop.

On a recent walk in the park, I noticed green mesh bags hanging at each campsite. I am a person with an inquiring mind, so naturally I had to investigate.

Upon closer inspection, I noticed a blue tag on each bag encouraging campers to “Do Your Part – Bag It, Don’t Trash It!”

These bags are part of a Recycle Rally that several state parks participate in throughout Missouri.

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources has encouraged parks to be involved with the Recycle Rally for a variety of reasons, ranging from reducing our environmental footprint to saving money on trash costs.
