Friday, May 2, was an exciting evening at the Shannon County Museum in Eminence, Missouri.
To kick off the annual Ozark Mountain Festival weekend, the museum hosted two presentations for a large crowd of over 50 visitors and museum staff.
The first presentation was a celebration of the legacy of the Shannon County Museum. Davaleen Dix Glorfeld (daughter of David and Joan Colley Dix) presented a history of the founding of the Shannon County Historical Society and profiled the founding board members.
