A few weeks ago I was at Lake of the Ozarks fishing with good buddy Ed Franko of Big Ed’s Guide Service.
While catching a great mess of crappie, I told Ed that I would be going coyote hunting in a few days.
He instantly stopped fishing and got on his phone.
After a really short conversation with the guy he called, he handed me the phone.
“Here,” he said. “Set up your coyote hunt.”
The young man on the other end of the call was professional predator hunter Austin Alumbaugh, who lives near Higginsville, Mo., and participates in 3 or 4 predator hunting tournaments each year.
