Those of us who truly love hunting small game understand the need to keep coyote numbers down.
Even for deer and turkey hunters, coyotes are still apex predators.
So, when I wanted to find more about how to hunt coyotes I went to the best source in the Midwest… Austin Alumbaugh.
This guy is a wealth of predator hunting information. Not only does he hunt and film on his own, but he also participates in several coyote hunting competitions throughout the year.
I will now share with you what I learned from this hunting professional.
• EQUIPMENT: GUNS — Nothing else on your coyote hunt matters if you cannot hit your shot. Alumbaugh shoots a Ruger American Predator rifle.
