Plan for a haunted river float at Ruby’s Landing

Between Crocker and Waynesville you can find Ruby’s Landing River Resort. It is tucked off of Hwy. 17. Take Restful Lane to Ruby’s Landing Drive and you have arrived.

Ruby’s is an excellent spot to enjoy time on the Gasconade River. They offer 5-mile floats via single or double kayaks, two-person canoes, and four-person rafts.

Ruby’s will include life jackets, paddles, and trash bags.

If you want to make more than a day of it, they offer tent and RV camping as well. If you’d prefer a cabin, those are available, too.

And, just in case you forgot something at home, Ruby’s does have a camp store on-site.

Got the kids along? There is a good-sized playground if the little ones want to get more energy out after a day on the river.

Are you a Halloween enthusiast in addition to loving the great outdoors? Then Ruby’s has something unique for you! They are home to the Haunted River Float.

Starting in mid-September, Ruby’s offers up one of the most unique floating experiences in Missouri. There are even options for more spooks by adding a haunted maze, haunted forest, and haunted house to your experience!

Additional packages for the spooky season include Zombie Paintball.

One of Ruby’s reviewers really took a liking to the haunted house portion of their experience by sharing, “They went all out. The amount of detail with the decorations was perfect. The actors were amazing and they wanted to make your experience the best it could be.”

Another unique offering that Ruby’s Landing River Resort offers is a wedding chapel near a heart-shaped pond. There is even space in a nearby community building or pavilion for a reception.
