I have spent half my life living in Missouri and half in Illinois. I have lived in 2 or 3 different places in both states.
I have also made many good friends at each location. One of my favorite things to do is to introduce my friends from different areas of the country to each other.
So, it was last month as I was planning a trout fishing trip to Lake Taneycomo in SW Missouri with my good friend, Duane Doty, of ozarktroutrunners.com.
Duane is the top guide on that lake. We have shared a few adventures there.
I was to meet Duane at Lilly’s Landing for the purposes of catching some trout and filming the trip for an episode on Mid-Mo Reapers for their YouTube Channel.
As those plans were being finalized, a lightbulb came on over my head.
