Several emails over the months have popped up noting my pretty unusual writing style.
After the last I think it might be a pretty good time to talk about it.
I, like many, produced much obligatory homework papers over the years. Papers were common in school and in college, and further work.
The papers grew pretty long. A paper of 100 pages was not uncommon. I might add much of this work involved subject matter not of my choosing, you might say.
I often found topics not of my choosing very hard to get very fired up about. Then, when I began teaching, the writing came to a grinding halt.
During all of this time my #1 hobby was research involving the forest lookout towers of the Midwest, especially Missouri. But, seldom did I ever write much about it.
