I seldom… that is not true, I NEVER write love stories. However, today I am going to make an exception.
I am going to share with you a story of two people who were born a half-a-world apart and somehow ended up shoulder-to-shoulder on a Missouri spring turkey hunt.
Sarah Stipanovic (Stip for short) was born on the Marshall Islands in the very small town of Kwajalein.
Her father was a contractor for the US military. Stip grew up and joined the US Navy, and later she served in the Naval Reserve.
After leaving active duty she began working for various law enforcement agencies. Sarah grew up on the ocean, deep sea fishing, snorkeling and spearfishing. She was the epitome of the salt life. This island gal somehow made her way to mid-Missouri as a Veteran’s Administration police officer at the Truman VA Hospital in Columbia, Mo.
Kyle Townley was born in central Missouri. This farm boy grew up hunting and fishing in America’s heartland. His love for the outdoors has filled his walls with trophies of every kind.
Townley has lived a life of public service. He has been in law enforcement for over 15 years and for the past 5 years has been a member of the University of Missouri Police Department.
