Local not-for-profit organization Ozark Heritage Project (OHP) assisted last month with the horrific flooding and its disastrous aftermath in eastern Kentucky.
The camouflaged Blazer boat so often seen on Missouri streams involved in trash removal was doing rescue and recovery work on several still-swollen streams in the coal state, including Troublesome Creek and the Kentucky River.
This was similar to when OHP and Blazer Boats of Ellington combined to provide assistance in 2017 near the Texas-Louisiana border after Hurricane Harvey.
