NRCS Record of Decision has been signed for the Little Otter Creek Reservoir in Caldwell County

On Jan. 16 Missouri Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Acting State Conservationist Grover DePriest signed a Record of Decision (ROD) supporting the installation of a multi-purpose reservoir in Caldwell County, Mo.

This decision fulfills National Environmental Policy Act requirements to assess the environmental impacts of this federal action and was based on the development of a comprehensive Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement.

The preferred alternative, which includes the construction of a 344-acre reservoir, will avoid environmental impacts to the extent possible while minimizing and mitigating for impacts that are unavoidable.
