To the Editor,
I really enjoyed the recent article on “riding the rails” in Missouri. Since I wrote it, I received several emails in regard to the pictures.
It seems I either omitted or it got lost in the shuffle what the picture story was/is.
The train picture is not from Missouri, but clear around the world. It comes from the Kuranda Scenic Railway in Australia. I was showing what a world rail traveler I am (?).
Kuranda Rail runs up into the Kuranda Forest and for the trip back you can “ride the rails” or do the forest “sky train.”
My wife and I did the sky train and are glad we did. When you make it to Queensland, Australia, make sure and don’t miss this one!
