Nature’s fireworks are on display!

Twinkling across the dark summer skies are thousands of bioluminescent “bugs” communicating with each other without ever making a sound. 

Fireflies, or lightning bugs, whichever you choose to call them, are one of the most magical parts of summer. 

Around the beginning of June when the weather begins to warm up, these glowing marvels can be seen winking across yards, fields, and along forest edges.
