Even with the COVID-19 crisis last year, the desire of many to visit and escape into the outdoors has not dwindled.
In return, several business that provide services and lodging allowing people to do just that have not suffered.
Fort Davidson Hotel is no exception.
In the past year, the hotel has not seen a decrease in business, but rather more visitors traveling closer to home.
“Our business did well in the summer months as we usually do, but it seemed that many of our guests were from Missouri and Illinois,” said Sharon Bickel, marketing and finance director of Fort Davidson Hotel.
The hotel also seemed to be ahead of the curve, when they found out their ozone air machine was a good cleaner for COVID-19.
“We have used an ozone air machine for over 20 years, and with the recent health crisis we found out that our ozone machine was an effective air cleaner against COVID-19,” said Bickel.
“It is used in every room between guests.”
