Starting this season, it will be easier to plan a trip to Battle of Athens State Historic Site. The historic site is transitioning from a first-come, first-served arrangement to an online reservation system for its campground.
Previously, campers relied on walk-in availability in securing a spot. To provide more certainty and an improved planning experience, visitors can now book campsites in advance for the upcoming season, which runs April 15 through Nov. 1.
You can make reservation by contacting the Reservation Call Center at (877) 422-6766 from 7 a.m.-7 p.m., or by visiting icampmo1.usedirect.com/MSPWeb/.
Battle of Athens State Historic Site is located at 12378 Athens State Park Road in Revere.
