It is Farmers Market time! This past Saturday, Neosho had the opening of their Farmers Market.
I love all sorts of Farmers Markets! While I was not able to go on Saturday, I am so eager to find what is being offered. One food vendor has been there so many years that we all have watched their kids grow up.

I love that you can find things from honey to woven rugs to fresh produce to pottery. It was at the Farmers Market that I first encountered Amy Bettis and her amazing baked goods.
In the spring, I have enjoyed buying my herb plants from the vendors as well as my mums and pumpkins in the fall. It is also fun to see how early people will arrive when those tomatoes are ripe and ready to go.
Each year, there are new vendors who will have things I will discover that I just cannot function without! I always look forward to the first batch of Japanese or long eggplant. Plus, you get to see lots of people.
