Recently I wrote an article on using limb lines and bank lines for catfishing.
I thought I might expand on other ways to go catfishing other than rod and reel.
You can use many things that float to jug for catfish. Milk jugs, bleach bottles, large liquor bottles, (twice the fun), and I have even used large metal juice cans that work well.
Last year I found an idea on YouTube that not only works well but gives you something to do during the cold and non-fishing weather.
This project can be a bit expensive for one jug if you don’t have the materials at hand. If you are making a quantity of these jugs it is fairly inexpensive and worth your time (fun, too!).
