Get a free history lesson from historic markersĀ

Spring is here and baseball season has already started. Many people from all over Missouri and neighboring states come to downtown St. Louis to see a Cardinals baseball game at Busch Stadium.

Even baseball fans from the western side of the state come to St. Louis when the Kansas City Royals play the St. Louis Cardinals. This year that happens on June 4th, 5th, and 6th.

There is a lot of history that took place in downtown St. Louis and a lot of it is commemorated with historic markers.

Many of these markers, plaques, and informational signs are outdoors within five blocks of Busch Stadium.

So, if you are in downtown St. Louis, why not take a short walk around and get a free history lesson before or after the ballgame?
