Ozark National Scenic Riverways is offering a three-day series of free fly-tying classes at Pulltite Visitor Center on Saturdays in January.
Prepare for the opening of trout season on March 1 by filling your fly box with hand-tied flies. Classes will be held on January 13, 20 and 27.
The classes run from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and participants should plan to attend all three sessions, as each class builds on the previous session.
The satisfaction of catching a wily trout on a fly you made is priceless.
