When a person thinks of famous dogs, they start listing the possible candidates such as Lassie, Ole Yeller, Little Ann and Old Dan, and 101 Dalmatians.
These dogs are part of the entertainment industry, always playing the hero or heroine role and never a villain.
We have developed an emotional attachment for dogs and considered to be part of our family. It is only natural that the dogs should be the good guys in the movies.
Tears have been shed over Ole Yeller and “Where the Red Fern Grows” because of our emotional attachment to our four-legged friends who show their unselfish devotion to their human family.
