Cold weather camping & being comfortable

The River Hill Traveler’s Bob Brennecke answers your outdoor questions:

QUESTION: “During the pandemic we have wanted to get out-of-doors and enjoy the fresh air and stay to ourselves as much as possible.

“Since winter has set in it has become more and more uncomfortable to keep warm while being out-of-doors in our camper. What type of heat could be used in our small camper to be comfortable?”

ANSWER: Being comfortable is very subjective, along with many mechanical considerations. Some people are comfortable in a “T” shirt and some need wool pants and long-sleeve shirts.

There are a lot of parameters to think about when heating a small camper and there may be a lot of stumbling blocks ahead.
