This is the fifth year for this tournament. Alton is across the Mississippi River from St. Charles County, Missouri, on U.S. Highway 67.

The tournament hours were 6:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and all boats had to be in the weigh-in line by 5 p.m. Each boat in the competition could have one to three members.

The catch regulations were that each boat was limited to three fish per boat. The eligible species included Blue Cat, Channel Cat, and Flathead Catfish.

Only live fish could be considered and no dead or foul hooked fish were accepted at weigh-in. Fishing methods were rod and reel only.
