I have just begun my 55th spring turkey season. “I’ve seen it all” is an understatement.
Besides the countless dozens of birds I have taken, I have guided almost that many more. I am blessed.
That having been said, just last month I experienced one of the Top 3 turkey hunting weekends of my life.
And to punctuate my blessings, I got to share this trip with my youngest grandson, Connor.
Last winter I was lucky enough to meet Nick Cram. Nick and his brother Nathan founded Buck Haven Outfitters in north-central Missouri in 2022.
They purchased a few hundred acres, and they lease over 2,500 acres. They have 2 fully functional and gorgeous lodges to accommodate their client hunter’s every need.
