Blessed in the Ozarks

I have camped in the Teton National Forest in the shadows of the Teton mountains as the sun set over western Wyoming.

I have camped on the edge of the Columbia River gorge and watched as the sun set over western Washington.

I have camped in the Absaroka Bear Tooth Wilderness and watched the sun set over western Montana.

I have camped in the Payette National Forest on the banks of Hells Canyon and watched the sun set over Oregon.

I have camped in the Challis National Forest in the wilderness of Idaho and watched the sun set over the Sawtooth Mountains as their shadows swallowed me.

I have camped on the banks of the Buffalo National River and watched the sun set over the beautiful rugged hills of Arkansas.

I have camped on the most beautiful beaches of Jamaica and watched the sun set over the Caribbean.

It took all of this for me to realize just how amazingly beautiful our very own Ozarks of Missouri is.
