In all of my years of camping, there is “something” I have never taken for granted.
This “something” calmly answers questions, often shares a comforting smile, and certainly helps make an unfamiliar place feel more like home.
That “something” is a campground host.
As Summer 2026 kicks off, camping season is in full swing throughout our region.
Missouri State Parks still has opportunities for folks to come in and become campground hosts.
