• Hook size 32

• Red UTC 140 waxed

• 2 pcs peacock herl

Start at the bend of the hook and wrap 2/3 of the way up the hook shank, covering the hook without any spaces between wraps. Tie in 2 pcs of peacock herl at that point.
Wrap both pieces of herl at the same time 1 wrap forward just behind the eye, then wrap the herl back (3-4 more wraps) to the thread point (2/3) tie in and cut off the excess.
Tie your finishing knot at the 2/3 point right behind the herl. Snip the tag end off and add a very small drop of head cement. Make sure to keep the eye of the hook clear leaving enough room to insert your tippet material when you are ready to fish it.*
