• The first group of elk that are part of the Missouri Department of Conservation’s (MDC) elk restoration projects were scheduled to arrive in the state in late April. The 34 elk were to complete their 90-day quarantine and final health testing in Kentucky before being transported to Missouri.
• You can fish for bass, walleye, crappie, or any other species. Specializing can make you a better fisherman for that species. However, many weekend fishermen want action and don’t get mad when a bass hits their goggle-eye bait.
