Manotak Lodge, a tourist fishing lodge located in Perrault Falls, Canada, is a four-star fishing lodge with a reputation for fantastic trophy fishing.

“We offer quality accommodations, excellent meals, and friendly service,” said Steve Swafford, who owns the lodge along with his wife, Christine.

Manotak Lodge has modern guest cottages accommodating from two to 12 people, each nestled on the shores of Perrault Lake.

“We immaculately maintain our buildings, grounds, and boats, while our proficient staff takes care of your every need,” said Steve.

They also offer several packages, including the American Plan, Evening Meal Plan, and Housekeeping Plan.

“Be sure to check out our special packages that we offer, like our industry-leading boat rental package offering the fisherman state-of-the-art equipment to catch fish along the 50 miles of Perrault Lake shoreline,” said Steve.

Manotak Lodge purchased five new boat motors in 2016, so none of their motors are over four years old.

“We also replaced casting decks on three boats and plan to continue replacing as needed,” said Steve.

At the end of 2015 they replaced the roof of the lodge and have worked to paint over half the cabins. Manotak Lodge has a total of 16 cabins and Steve said the painting will continue in 2017.

“We have also started replacing mattresses in the cabins with about one-quarter replaced and we’ll continue this improvement over the next two years,” said Steve.

According to the Swaffords, they welcomed back loyal guests and greeted many new guests last year.

“Fishing was incredible with the last fish of the season being a 50-inch musky, and walleye fishing was solid with large numbers over the 22 inch mark,” said Steve.

Several of Manotak’s guests also caught jumbo perch, smallmouth bass, and norther pike.

“This year will be an even busier year and we anticipate at least a five percent growth,” said Steve.

He said several weeks are already filled with reservations for the spring, but the fishing is solid all summer and there are still spots left for guests to experience fishing in the Canadian wilderness.

When asked why they would consider Manotak Lodge a good place to do business, the Swaffords replied, “Northwest Ontario is an amazing place to do business! There is nothing like being immersed in nature.”

“We feel we provide service that is above all others in the industry,” said Steve. “Our staff is the best in the business in looking after guests. We provide a safe, family atmosphere where, when you leave, you will feel like friends and family.”

Christine: “For anyone interested in Ontario cabin rentals and trophy fishing, we hope you’ll choose the modern and comfortable vacation accommodations at Manotak Lodge.”
