Huzzah Valley Resort (HVR) is a “one stop shop” for floating, camping, lodging, and more.
Located at 970 E. Highway 8, HVR recently remodeled its shower house in the loud area of the resort.
“We are also building a pavilion in the loud area of the resort,” said Yvette Clary, assistant manager of Huzzah Valley Resort.
HVR is a family-friendly resort that has been outfitting trips on the Huzzah, Meramec, and Courtois rivers since 1979 “We love what we do and want to provide our customers with the opportunity to make memories that last a lifetime, all while enjoying the beauty of nature,” said Clary.
Whether visiting for a day or a weekend, HVR offers a variety of activities for all ages.
“We have riverfront camping, RV sites, lodging units, horseback rides, catered meals, swimming areas, a playground, volleyball area, and floating,” said Clary.
In 2015, HVR built two new cabins called the Eagle’s Nest.
“We were very pleased with our 2015 season. We gained several new customers and were thrilled to see many of our returning customers as well,” said Clary.
