Internet radio station launches from deep Ozarks
Internet radio station KWBC.fm launched Oct 8 on the World Wide Web. Summersville resident and former KUNQ/KBTC station manager and DJ Bea Hall is the manager of the new KWBC, which is a division of the Back 40 Group of Hartshorn which presently employees six from the Texas/Shannon County area.
The station reports positive comments from listeners as far away as New York, Texas and California. KWBC is located in a very remote and scenic area near the Current River and is 6 miles from the nearest neighbors.
If you have been missing the Traditional Country, Bluegrass, Southern and Bluegrass Gospel that Bea formerly played you’ll love the new KWBC. The station will be broadcasting from a play list of over 4000 songs. Listener requests are accepted and the station has also scheduled a weekly block of Western music. The complete schedule is available on the stations web site at http://KWBC.FM.
